Managing Principals
Ryan Windus
Mr. Windus co-founded Rulteus Capital Group in 2023 and is responsible for overseeing the origination and structuring of all of RCG's investment activities, as well as capital raising and portfolio management. Since RCG's inception, Mr. Windus has closed real estate transactions totaling in excess of $600 million. At the firm, Mr. Windus serves on several investment committees related to both the debt and equity platforms. Prior to founding RCG, Mr. Windus worked in capital markets advisory for Meridian Capital where he focused on structuring and financing commercial real estate transactions across acquisitions, recapitalizations, and equity investments. Prior to that, Mr. Windus worked in development capital markets for Clark Construction Group. Mr. Windus graduated from Tulane University's A.B. Freeman School of Business with a Bachelor of Science Management degree in Legal Studies and Real Estate.
Alexander Barakat
Mr. Barakat co-founded Rulteus Capital Group in 2023 and is responsible for structuring all of RCG's investments, risk and portfolio management, raising capital, and asset management. Since RCG's inception, Mr. Barakat has closed real estate transactions totaling in excess of $600 million. Mr. Barakat serves on several investment committees related to both the debt and equity platforms. Prior to co-founding RCG, Mr. Barakat worked for RBI, focusing on mergers & acquisitions, capital restructuring, and refinancing transactions. Prior to that, Mr. Barakat worked in real estate private equity acquisitions for Ritz Banc Group. Mr. Barakat holds a Masters of Finance from the Georgetown University McDonough School of Business, as well as a Bachelor of Science in economics from the Carnegie Mellon Tepper School of Business.
